The now regular Christmas message from the creator of The Tribe outlines his usual positiveness about possible developments in the future despite the difficulties encountered. But also within this is an update that a new book definitely will be on the horizon – just not anytime soon.
For those who celebrate Christmas I want to take this opportunity of sending you my very best wishes for the holidays and a peaceful, prosperous and healthy New Year.
2018 has been a busy one with lots of writing and ongoing development on a possible motion picture and perhaps even a sequel. But it all takes so long especially with the evolution of our industry and the different ways so many people are consuming product. With this in mind don’t forget that Cloud 9’s catalogue is on Vimeo (whereby you can see your favourite Tribe cast in some of our other shows) and all seasons of The Tribe of course are also available on all manner of outlets from Lightbox to Amazon Prime.
I do have some definitive news though and that is our publishing holdbacks will expire the 3rd quarter of 2019 which means that we will definitely be releasing the next Tribe novel (realistically around September ish I would imagine) and I am thinking about releasing various versions of different screenplays as a collector’s edition. So watch for news on that. Depending on everyone’s schedules we might be able to release some new Tribe music and I know Harry is still developing his Tribe play.
Anyway, thank you all for your support and for being there for us for another year – and I look forward to catching up with you soon.
