The Tribe Official has released a video from the archives which shows the original audition for Meryl Cassie when she attempted to go for the role of Salene.

Though she wasn’t quite suitable for the role, the team saw the spark and talent within the young actor, which directly led to the creation of the character of Ebony within the show.
